I am a self-taught artist that uses materials that are easily accessible, with beginnings in stencil graffiti, later gravitating to other forms of printmaking due to its reproducibility and populist history. As a result of the medium I have adopted a graphic, hand-made style to produce propaganda for street posters, public installations, and sculptures.

My work is contestational towards Capitalism, consumer culture and all its necessities, war, violence, and ecological devastation. I have collaborated with veterans organizations making graphics for street campaigns, installed white bicycles to memorialize cyclists killed by automobiles, and worked collectively to produce a flotilla of sculptural junk rafts that traveled down the Mississippi River.

It is within these collaborative and collective projects that a process emerges. The challenges regarding individualism, identity, and resources, our attempts to overcome them, form a social practice. Much like the various steps in printmaking these become building blocks, where the end result isn't a handmade print, but a more just society.
