Panel Discussion and Reception for All of Us or None

Thursday, October 8, 2015

4:30 pm

Swarthmore College, McCabe Library Atrium

Across the globe, militarism directly impacts all of our lives. The images on display in All of Us or None are part of a new American Friends Service Committee traveling exhibition that examines the effects of militarism at both the foreign and domestic policy levels. It also highlights alternatives and positive nonviolent solutions. To inaugurate this exhibition at McCabe Library, we open with a panel by Swarthmore faculty, followed by a reception, to which all community members are welcome.

Panelists:

  • Moderator: Sa’ed Atshan – Peace and Conflict Studies
  • Nanci Buiza – Modern Languages and Literatures / Spanish Section, Peace and Conflict Studies, Latin American and Latino Studies
  • Sharon Friedler – Music and Dance
